I procrastinated for a long time as to whom I could trust with my 50 year old 8mm films. The films of course are the precious memories of my family that could never be replaced. When I saw Lee Nadik's ad in the Allegheny West Magazine I decided to give him a call. After speaking with him for a few minutes, I was convinced that I could trust him with these precious films. With films this old I was unsure how the quality would be; but he assured me they would monitor ever foot of the film and do the best they could. He told me they would be ready in about two weeks and sure enough he was true to his word, in fact they were ready a couple of days earlier. Let me just say I couldn't be happier with the results of the over 3,800 feet of film he converted to DVDs for me and I would he happy to recommend him to anyone.

The North Fayette Police and the West Allegheny School District recently used Nadik Video Service to develop DVDs that will be used by the local police departments should an emergency or crisis situation ever occur. The DVDs feature the five schools, which make up the West Allegheny School District, and show the layout and contents of each building. The DVDs are thought to be a proactive, valuable tool that could be utilized in the event of an emergency situation. This project has never been done before in the school district and Lee at Nadik Video Service provided the technical skill and expertise to accomplish this tedious task. Lee constantly kept us updated with the progress and the DVDs were completed in a very timely fashion once the taping was completed. I would highly recommend Nadik Video Service for a person contemplating a similar project.

Recently I used Nadik services to convert 8mm film to DVD. The film was very important as it was a collection of home movies from me and my sibling's childhood. Our plan was to convert them into DVD to give to my parents for their 40th wedding anniversary. I was reluctant to use someone that I did not know, let alone someone over the Internet. However I was out of options as I could not find a vendor that would convert from 8mm to DVD without spending a fortune! I called Lee and was impressed by how knowledgeable he was about the process, his willingness to convert from 8mm to DVD & VHS, how quickly he could get the job done and his reasonable pricing. Both he and his wife were involved in the process and committed to my satisfaction. Needless to say, the whole experience was fabulous! I would recommend him to others....my parents were thrilled with their gift!

"I would highly recommend Nadik Video Services to anyone who is interested in preserving special, family memories. We recently came upon a very short, 8mm film of our family from 1969. Up until then, we didn't know, or remember, that any footage existed from that period. Upon finding it, and not having the projector to view the film, we looked around for someone who could transfer it to VHS and DVD. I remembered seeing an advertisement for Nadik Video Services near my parents in Imperial, PA. So I went to the web site and was pleased to see what services were offered, and at reasonable prices. I also read how other customers were happy with their finished products. I called Lee to explain what I needed, and I immediately felt comfortable about leaving the job up to him. Turn around time was lightening fast for this project, and the transfer was excellent for this old film with the colors being clear and vibrant. "We are very pleased with the value and quality of the video conversion performed by Nadik Video. After we mailed in our 8mm originals, we received a quote by Email as well as information about the condition of our originals and a series of questions about how we wanted the conversion done (what order, with or without music, what labels we wanted on the final product...). We got our converted product and originals returned to us within about two weeks! The most remarkable aspect of this service is the quality of the results. I have seen other converted 8mm films and they were no match for this DVD quality. Apparently, most conversion companies use a projector, a screen and mirrors to capture the original image. Nadik Video, however, uses an 'Elmo' conversion system that projects directly onto an internal CCD (no screen or mirrors) which sends images directly to the digital recorder. The result is an image of incredible clarity that will last forever (100 years or so). Finally, we were pleased about the value of this service. After comparing pricing with other services advertised on the web, we found Nadik Video's conversion service to be very competitive. The value of this service is even better when you consider that you get a free VHS copy of any DVD film conversion!"

This is an open letter about the services of NADIK VIDEO SERVICES. You always take a gamble by picking a name from the yellow pages, but this time it really worked out !! Lee at Nadik Video services treated me so well that I didn't mind driving from Pleasant Hills (Century Three Mall area) to Imperial, PA for his services. He transferred My sons Senior football season from VHS to DVD in about two and a half days turnaround time. All the other calls I made had a two to six week waiting time. Lee was very helpful and knowledgeable about what I needed and what to expect with this project. On the subject of price he beat all the other companies I called by $200 dollars or more. When we returned home to view the DVD's we were all very pleased with the outcome. My sons senior season was very special for personal reasons, and Lee helped us to keep it preserved and view it in high quality for many life-times. So forget the yellow pages gamble and just call LEE at Nadik Video. You will not be disappointed !!!..... Tony Cortese
